๐Ÿš€ This Week's Amazon Hack: Show Your Product!

Today's hack is all about NOT being boring with your hero images. When others zig, you should zag.

Some of the best Amazon hacks are extremely simple to deploy. I like simple.

So, how do you get customers to click your listing like crazy?

By showing your product! By that, I mean really showing it. This will be a bit of a gray area but depending on your category, Amazon might not be known to take action. here's even more good news. If Amazon ever gets grumpy with you, the worst thing that will happen is a listing suppression until you fix it.

I'm going to use two real examples and show you pictures today.

The first one is from a pretty well-known cold brew coffee brand on Amazon. They're Amazon-native and absolutely crush it.

In a space that is dominated by boring coffee bags and nothing else, Bizzy includes gorgeous coffee swirls in a branded glass cup.

Pretty sexy huh? This one simple change has skyrocketed Bizzy's CTR and resulted in dominance within their category.

Go ahead and copy them. It works.

Another variation (no pun intended haha) of this strategy is to show 3D models of the flavor of your product.

Orgain does a really good job of this on their top-selling protein powder:

This is effective because their flavor is pretty much obscured on their packaging and customers might miss it, especially on PPC ads. With some delicious-looking chocolate with drizzle on the main image, there is little doubt what the flavor is. CTR goes boom. PPC ACoS improves. Huge win.

Every day, you should be asking yourself what you can be doing with your media assets that no one else is doing. I'll be honest, there may come a day when Amazon removes any of these hacks and forces everyone to be boring. Until that day comes, use this hack across your catalog!

๐Ÿ”ฅ Hot Amazon Seller News: Mayday, Mayday!

It's May 14th, so do you know what that means? It's the last day of the grace period being given to you to have all your low inventory level fees credited back to your account.

Don't be left in the dark. I'm going to try and simplify the way Amazon calculates this new fee so you can avoid it 99% of the time.

Going forward, you NEED to make sure you are always above 28 days of inventory to avoid being charged this fee.

To be charged the low inventory level fee, both your 90-day and 30-day historical sales data need to be under 28 days of inventory.

This will be painful when you off-load stale inventory. There's no way to avoid this fee going forward.

Amazon is basically telling low-IQ sellers that they are not welcome on their platform. They only want the most optimized sellers to weed out the slow movers and achieve Same-Day delivery for 99% of everything sold on Amazon. it's ambitious but this is how you do it.
